What is wrong with the way our grandparents did things...

It has troubled me for a long, long time about how Grandma was made to feel like she had to get up every morning to cook breakfast for Grandpa and most the time the children would need to get up and go to the table. It was really messed up back then.

How come years later, after everything Grandma had to do for Grandpa and the children did she act like she still loved him. Did she not know she could have had things a lot better. I really feel badly for Grandma. It was wrong for them to take advantage of her so badly.

You would never go into MOST homes today (remember I said most not all) and find Dad, Mom and the children sitting around the table eating a cooked meal. It is about time someone set things straight. Or should I say maybe something got tangled up and lost along the way.

I truly think that we should take a long look back at the way family life used to be years ago. I am not saying that everyones grandparents did things this way. I will say that those Grandparents that did do things like this probably acted like newly weds to the end of their years on earth. The Husband loved his wife so much that no other woman would catch his fancy as it would have been said.

Things started to go crazy many years ago. Sorry but it is true. Everything Good or Bad has its effect on life as it is today. We all know that the war took many fathers away from their families for a long, long time and in some cases forever, never to return.

Yet, this is one point in history that we can look back and see what really took place. Women had to stay home and care for the children. Some women had to go to work. Sorry, but we all know males and females get tempted and that is why the Bible talks about it is better to get married than to burn, due to lusting. So with husbands away, women alone became tempted, men around other females over seas became tempted. Sadly enough marriages that were strong was ruined because of what the war caused. Once sin starts it will go seven deep within the family unti, unless someone breaks it with the Blood of Jesus forgiving sin and delivering us from the bonds of Satan.

After the war was over, some husbands never returned, some held deep secrets from their spouses, some held mood swings from what it did to them mentally, and some marriages just plain ended. Either way, the war changed a lot. So was Americans the winners or loosers. Sadly enough Everyone Lost and their was No winner at all.

The Question that I ask you is this, How deep will it go into your family. Or are you ready to take the stand and break this bond that Satan has upon the Family Unit. Remember, we all have sinned and fallen short...John 3:16

We serve an Great, Wonderous God, not one person is without sin, Only Jesus Christ and it is through his Boody that we all have hope.
